We made it! Cory and I are currently sitting in our hotel room at the Ramstein Inn. We arrived right on time after some long flights only to find that our sponsor was not there waiting to greet us. Another Airman that Cory knew from tech school didn't have a sponsor show up either so he followed us around.
Thanks to Kathy (Uncle Randy's wife), we had a connection with someone already here on base who recommended we go to the hotel if our sponsor didn't arrive. This was a HUGE help! We got checked in for the night and no longer had to carry our luggage around.
After many attempts at figuring out how to call a German cell phone, Cory made contact with our sponsor and he arrived at the hotel room. He was very caught off guard to see a third person with us. The sponsor took the other Airman and left in hopes of finding his sponsor.
